The sudden introduction of virtual education into the educational system without examining the possible challenges ahead at the same time as the spread of the corona virus has raised concerns about the academic decline of students in different levels of education. The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors affecting the academic failure of students of academic Jihad higher education centers in Kermanshah province under the conditions of the Corona pandemic by using data mining techniques. The statistical population includes the students of academic Jihad training centers, which have been selected by a simple random sampling method of 150 students to investigate this issue. For data collection, field methods (data collection through interviews, telephone calls with students and professors) and a researcher-made questionnaire were used.
The results of data analysis using the methods of rough set theory and decision tree showed that distance from the study environment and university, lack of effective communication between students and professors, lack of virtual education culture, weak virtual education platform and lack of suitable equipment and infrastructure for virtual education. Along with students' worries about not getting infected with the corona virus, there are variables that affect the students' learning situation in the conditions of the corona pandemic.
